It Starts With A Sniffle: A Look into Modern-Day Racism and Prejudice
It starts with a sniffle, then a cough, then a spit. Oops... "You spit on me!" Clenched fists go flying. Someone's bleeding -- internally. A punctured lung, possibly. A last breath taken and you're dead. Why? Because you were trained and conditioned, like a benevolent soldier, to hate another for their outer cover. Too Light. Too Dark. A fool's ponder. A sign of weakness, fear and ignorance. Like unlearned, uncivil, savage beasts. Like a dog. After all... Only dogs sniff people.
*** Actions speak louder than words. We must be careful of our actions.

I agree. However, I believe that the more important question is "How do we eradicate the vile connotations of race in the US"? In this way, as an American culture we can live peacefully together.

Diversity is a hot button issue. Our culture has programmed us to attack and defend. There needs to be a better way.
